KEEP THE BOUNDARY VISIBLE
Tor can lower linkability in a browser session. It cannot remove every signal, protect every application or make an untrusted destination safe.
An ISP or local observer may be able to tell that you are connecting to Tor even when they cannot see the destination content.
Tor encrypts traffic inside its network. After the exit relay, confidentiality to the site depends on HTTPS and the site itself.
A login, unique writing style, repeated routine or identifying form field can connect a session to you.
Phishing, malware, browser bugs and unsafe downloads can compromise you outside the network path. Another app may connect directly.
Relays add delay, and some sites block or challenge Tor. A higher security setting can also break web features.
