They live in six built-in spots — Recommended for You, Discovery Queue, Interactive Recommender, Community Recommendations, Curators, plus store-page sections — and each one works differently. Follow individual curators or communities and their picks show up on store pages. Great for matching a specific taste — solo, co-op, roguelikes, story-first — and for browsing hand-picked lists.
Store-page sections
Any game page → "More Like This"; store home → "Players like you love"
Steam also recommends inside pages: "More Like This" on every game page, plus "Players like you love" and "Community recommends" on the store home. The quickest way to find near-duplicates of a game you already like.

3 steps to open your Steam recommendations
No matter which entry you want, the path starts the same way.
Sign in
Open Steam, open the Store tab, and sign in. Most recommendation features are empty or hidden until you have an account with playtime.
Open Your Store
Click or hover "Your Store" in the top navigation. The main Recommendations tab is the default view; the dropdown holds Discovery Queue and Interactive Recommender.
Pick by goal
Daily browsing → Discovery Queue. Personalized feed → Recommendations tab. "More like this" across all of Steam → Interactive Recommender. Crowd picks → Community Recommendations or Curators.
